PROFESSIONAL JOURNEY + EXPERIENCE
My career has always been rooted in visual storytelling and creative expression. With a background spanning graphic design, photography, and fine art, my practice has evolved over the years while remaining centered around a deep interest in image-making, composition, colour, and visual narrative.
2011–2014 | BA Graphic Design
Completed a BA in Graphic Design, with subjects like Illustration, Art History, Anthropology, and Photography, at the University of North West, Potchefstroom, South Africa.
This foundation provided me with a broad understanding of visual communication, creative practice, art history, and the relationship between imagery and culture.
2015–2016 | Junior Graphic Designer
Lily Young, Pretoria, South Africa
Coco Jelly, Pretoria, South Africa
Worked as a Junior Graphic Designer, gaining professional experience in design, visual communication, concept development, client relations and creative production.
2015–2025 | Professional Wedding Photographer
Worked professionally as a Wedding Photographer for a decade, documenting weddings and developing a distinctive approach to storytelling through photography.
This period strengthened my understanding of light, composition, colour, emotion, and capturing authentic moments — skills that continue to influence my approach to painting today.
